
Greetings and welcome to the "Introduction to Sustainable Financing Mechanism for Waste Management" Training Course. This course is created under the Committing to Sustainable Waste Actions in the Pacific (SWAP) Project funded through Agence Française de Développement (AFD).
SWAP offers this training course to Pacific people who have interests on waste management. The course is intended to provide comprehensive knowledge on the concept and practical applications and benefits of sustainable financing mechanisms with consideration on the unique conditions of the Pacific Region. Over four weeks, you’ll learn about the best practice sustainable financing mechanisms which worked well in some countries in the Pacific and elsewhere. You’ll also learn how to design and implement a sustainable financing solution in the Pacific context using tools which can be used to guide the process.
